Back in early March, my cousin sent me a text out of the blue: “Dons? Do you still like to read?” I replied that I haven’t kicked the bad habit and still read 😂 She then went on to say she had some books she’d like to giveaway and asked if I wanted them. Um, duh! New to me books? Yes, please!! So, with things being what they were at the time, I wasn’t able to pick up the books until recently. I knew what books I was getting, but I didn’t know what format or condition. Let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised to see hardcovers with the Book of the Month logo on the books!
The little pig figurine pictured with the books was given to me by my Grandpa. He knows my love for pigs and picks up anything he thinks I would like 🙂
I’m hoping Where the Crawdads Sing is as good as everyone says. As for The Unraveling of Cassidy Holmes, I haven’t heard much about it.
The Night Swim has to do with a true crime podcast, which has me interested. Never Let You Go is a domestic thriller, I think this one will be so good!
I will probably cry when I read All the Light We Cannot See. The Woman in the Window is giving me Girl on the Train vibes. I hope it’s better than that though.
The Sinner is one of those that had me hooked with the first sentence of the synopsis. I must read it! Behind Every Lie, I NEED to know what happened to the mother.
I can’t wait to dive into these books. I may just binge read these on Thanksgiving break and Winter break. I’m so happy my cousin thought of me when she got these books, thanks Jen!! I truly appreciate it 😉
