I love the pink!

I was super excited about the pinkness of this box. Pink is my favorite color!

More pink! Also, how great is that sticker?

Now, onto the books! I chose the package that came with 2 books. Also, each book is signed by the author! How cool is that?

Those covers! Is it weird that I just stared at them for awhile?

A Really Bad Idea by Jeannine Colette
Everyone has a best friend. Mine just happens to be Dr. Christian Gallagher— the gorgeous, green-eyed heart surgeon who wants to have a baby with me.

Yes, you read that correctly.

When my mother approached me on my thirty-third birthday with a brochure for egg freezing, it was a glaring reminder that my biological clock is ticking toward its expiration date. I’ve always dreamed of being a mom and had a plan — one that was destroyed when I caught my professional hockey player husband in bed with another woman.

Despite my broken heart I still believe in love. I want the happily ever after, but I also want a child desperately and won’t settle in order to make it happen.

That’s why when I decided to take my mother’s advice, Christian came up with his own plan: Let’s have a baby together.

It’s a bad idea. A really, really bad idea. And yet…I can’t stop thinking about how great it could be.

There’s just one condition. Before we have sex (oh, yes, we’re doing this the old fashioned way!) Christian is adamant we go on three dates.

Sounds easy, but it’s not.I thought sex would be the hard part, but the dates are only making me fall for the man I’ve known almost my entire life.

Whoever said sex doesn’t change things never went to bed with their best friend.

After her marriage unravels, Tyler Thomas returns home to Georgia with her young daughter. Defeated and disillusioned from years with a heavy drinking and unstable husband, she begins to pick up the pieces of her life and tries to heal from the abuse. Home feels safe to her. Especially after her ex, embittered by his shattered dreams of being a professional football player, spewed threats for years and placed the blame of not making the NFL draft squarely on the shoulders of his high school sweetheart, Tyler, and her pregnancy during their college years. Zac Jacobson, the local veterinarian has carried a torch for Tyler since moving to her high school as a junior. Now the beauty he remembers has moved back with her young daughter. He’s fighting demons of his own, suffering from PTSD after an injury forced him to medically retire from the Army. Tyler gives him an unexpected glimpse of hope to heal his inner demons. Just when it seems the two may heal and blossom together, Tyler’s vindictive ex-husband allows his shattered dreams to twist his logic, he unfolds a plot to take Tyler away from her new beginnings. Zac sets out to save her, pulling his resources to find Tyler, who have become his salvation. A story of broken dreams, and the healing power of love, Healing Scars will draw you into the complex lives and the imperfect souls trying to hold on to the best parts of themselves as they struggle with what life has dealt them. Healing Scars is the first book in the Healing Series. It is a standalone and can be read independently, but feeds into the next book Goodbye, Trey.

Final thoughts:

I really enjoyed this unboxing. I liked the little items it came with, all usable. The books are both interesting and signed. I would love to try the bigger package they offer. Also, the books are all romance! If you’re into romance this box is definitely for you.
