November Wrap-Up

Hey fellow bookworms! It’s been a bit since I last posted. The holidays was a pretty busy time for me. I now finally have time to type up some late posts 🙂
Here is my November wrap-up, I only had time to read 2 books. Yes, only 2, but that’s something!

The first book I finished was Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer. I have been waiting for this book for years and years! I remember when she was first working on it and heard that it got leaked online. I was so sad to hear that she decided to not finish it after that. So, once I heard that this book was happening, I pre-ordered it. I also got myself a Twilight Special Edition Beacon Book Box. It was such a great box! Even though this book was released back in August, I took my sweet time reading it. I also listened to it on audiobook. Let’s just say, that it definitely amplified the satisfaction of the greatness of this book. I highly enjoyed it and am glad it was everything I hoped for. Yes, I am long fan of Twilight. Loved it!

The second book I read was Her Darkest Nightmare by Brenda Novak. This was my first read by this author. I went into it not knowing too much. I was taken by surprise by how graphic it was at times. I’m not complaining, I enjoyed it. I was just expecting a totally different book! Yes, it deals with serial killers, psychopaths, and a psychiatrist. The synopsis mentioned a love interest, so I assumed it was a mostly romantic story. Boy, was I wrong. It was so much more than that. Very intriguing and at the edge of my seat, couldn’t put it down. I was delighted to find that this is the beginning of a series.
